Alright, let’s get the ball rolling.
To start off, I’d like to introduce a few new staff members to Kibitou4Life.
- KP: Formerly worked with Simple Scans with Ika Musume, Typesetter which brings our grand total of typesetters to 2( 3 if you count Mr. Wind Up Bird on occasion).
-Ningen: Also formerly worked with Simple Scans, translator.
As far as what we’re up to now as far as work goes:
- Little more than half done with Amagami Various Collection Vol 5, expect a release for the next chapter(s) sometime this weekend.
- Translation on the Charlotte IS doujin from pivix is underway.
- Our scanner friend says he’ll receive the Laura X Charlotte X Ichika IS doujin within the next week or so and then it’ll take a few days for cleaning, translating, type setting and finally a little QC.
And for anyone from /a/ who cares:
-the Cecilia story will probably be delayed for a bit since I’ve got midterms coming up this week.
It feels like I'm the only one who likes Cecilia anymore.
Self control is important, too.
Well, after finishing this chapter with everyone’s favorite sex-hair Kaoru learning about the concept of personal space and self-restraint, we’re almost halfway done with the release. Geez, I almost kind of wish I didn’t spend 7 hours writing up Java code for my programming class the other night so I could have released this sooner. Oh well, you know what they say, got to roll with the punches.

Do you always remember to save right before you go up against the Boss?
I recently started Houkago Play and couldn’t help but unconsciously read the girlfriend’s lines in Yuu Kobayashi’s voice and Hiroshi Kamiya’s voice for the boyfriend. But later on, I found out that there was a Drama CD where the girl friend was played none other than my favorite seiyuu Shizuka Itou. And now, I finally got my hands on it thanks to anonymous on /a/. Not only is Shizuka the girlfriend, but Terashima Takuma, a.k.a Best Bro Masoyoshi Umehara from Amagami, plays the boyfriend. So it’s kind of like the best bud dating a mellowed out Haruka who plays fighting games and is a bit of a sadist. Which is fucking awesome. The tracks cover bits and pieces from the first volume, like the dating sim game and the apple incident.
I need to get me a girlfriend like this.

Well, here’s the third story featuring Junichi and the class rep with a dark side Tsukasa Ayatsuji. Though, she doesn’t really have a dark side in this. Sorry for anyone who was waiting on her dominating Junichi (waiting on that one myself). Little different this time around, I had some business to attend to this week so Mr. Wind-Up Bird tried typesetting it himself, so don’t be as surprised if the style seems a little different than usual.

What's with all the Drama, CDs?
As some of you may know from our Hibiki monologue release, we had a little help from Harth with the subbing, so it’s kinda my turn to return the favor. If you’re into the whole Drama CD thing and haven’t already, pop by his site. Recently he finished subbing all of Tsukasa Ayatsuji’s Drama CD and he just published the first track from each of the remainder of the CDs in the Amagami Set.
